He used four Mini turbine jet engines sold by an online store...These  four engines are similar to the one picture below...Oh and the sack he is wearing is no parachute, it is actually a fuel Bladder
Because of the Thrust per engine flight time was/is limited to 10 minutes.

The Engine turbine he used have a trust of 75 pounds
