Hypothesis VS Theory
Are main street media types so ignorant, that they don't know the major difference between a Hypothesis and a Theory?. Washington Post reporters, NY Times and even the fabled Fox news apply the wrong word. In fact all the major news media editorial boards don't know how to even count to past 99 million without tripping past numeral sequence. Any time we read a post and that post, no matter the source, has the words, 'just a conspiracy theory' those words betray the partisanship and ignorance of the writer. And you as a reader should skip the post and move on to something else? To make make your point here is the actual definition of these Two words... A theory not only explains known facts; it also allows scientists to make predictions of what they should observe if a theory is true. Scientific theories are testable.
