Voices of dissent have always caused trouble to existing powers...
Whether scientific, political or technological.
Those in power resist and silence, The church did it, governments do it, the powerful with money do it all the time.
Yet with all their power an machinations all they accomplish is to delay change.
Dissenter or malcontents are never happy with status quo, they want change and their message heard.
Media giants such as google will silence your writings by adding your page to the no publish algorithm.  by placing your page there the system will then never dis play your contents in search results...
