Open Letter to the Senate
Honorable Senators.
A long time ago it was written "He who places PARTY politics before the country, SHALL lose both the party and the country." Wise words to ponder and obey especially today when many prefer to let personal hatred dictate our words and actions... We must set aside personal politics and attend to
a grave and imminent danger that is hiding in plain sight of congress.
While America is distracted by the persona, words and actions of the current occupant in the white house. We must not lose sight of the sacred duty the founding fathers charged congress with, protect the citizens, liberty and government, while at the same time avoid governmental tyranny...
Many are talking and writing about the actions of this president while using a federal agency to conduct searches and arrests of thousands of residents in a single day
Congress should not make the mistake and ignore the great threat any federal agency presents when that same agency can coordinate itself to arrest thousands in a single day while at the behest and will of any president.
Congress Should not make the mistake and ignore the fact that this same agency can ALSO be directed to arrest all 50 Governors and members of congress.
The task of Congress is to protect itself against and by the fault the American Republic against all enemies especially potential enemies from within.
Congress should not make the mistake and allow any president to have personal control of any agency that has the power to organize mass arrests and shows DISDAIN to the media and members of congress.
Maybe this current president won't abuse this power.
However who is to say that a future president will not use this agency already in place to easily bring about a "Coup D' Etat" in America.
Members of congress should at least become aware that presidents are humans with ambitions and that congress itself has given the president the tools to cause great harm to this republic.
The time has come for congress to protect itself and the republic at the same time.
No president shall have control of any agency capable arresting congress itself.
