Learning new skills in 2175 AD
Here we are in the media room scanning the news channels not really paying any attention to the news. The pretty talking head that appears so life like in the middle of my room is not real at at all as news anchors have all been replaced by Computer Generated Personas, (CGP's) powered by AI developed by Google.
The hologram moved seamlessly from the talking had to a dirty looking beach. The voice over was going through the list of islands in the pacific now underwater. It went on to describe the latest city in the us to abandon their streets to the rising ocean level. The floating letters off to the side showed me a related subfolder 'economic costs of sea level rise' A laser on the remote was pointed at the floating letters the scene changed, showing police and firefighter unions with signs that read "we want our pensions back or else"
Moving the laser to the 'Go back' icon the anchor head was now showcasing the main news item "Future Trends"
"The well to do or super rich are now using their own stem cells converted to matching brain cell their own body would not reject while at the same time cramming those brain cells with knowledge from people with skills who have agreed to transfer their skill and memories for a fee. The Rich are no longer sending their children to schools to learn trades.
Even the Navy is seeking West Point Grads to volunteer for participation in the 'Skill transfer technology.'"
